To Whom It May Concern:
Your newspaper erroneously and libelously reported
that Art Bell made racist postings on the internet. Art Bell's
wife is half Filipino and he would never make such statements
and has been the victim of a cruel internet hoax perpetrated
by his enemies, and now is unable to return to broadcasting
because of severe and serious death threats received because
of your erroneous report.
I am urging you to print a FRONT PAGE retraction as soon as
possible to resolve this matter before it escalates any further
into actual violence againt Art Bell and his family, for which
you will be partially responsible.
